100paintings.gallery is a website that randomly combines a selection of 100 paintings in five layers to create a unique composition on each page load. This set of parameters allows for over 9 billion unique works.

Each unique 800x1000px composition can be downloaded as well as shared via a generated permalink.

Made for the Rhizome.org online exhibition ‘Brushes’ a part of the New Museum: First Look series.
